Jaguar XJ Saloon (2003 - 2009) XJ6 3.0 V6 SE 4d Auto Owner Review

This Jaguar XJ SE car is built for long journeys on traffic free roads. Just drove my wife and I plus two grandchildren along with luggage and quilts etc. to France, what a fabulous long distance cruiser. Put cruise control on at Rouen and braked just before Cholet to exit the road, traveling at about 80mph and still averaged about 37mpg for the entire trip, not bad for a 3 litre car. Mind you I do use 99 or 97 octane petrol as that makes such a difference. Switched off the mpg check on the M20 out of Dover as the UK's roads are crap in comparison, car up my tail, one on my back wheel, leave a gap in front and someone immediately fills it. The grandchildren love the space in the back as well as the rear blind keeping the direct sun off them. So true to the marketing slogan; Grace, Space, Pace.
