Yes. The package was competative.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Upgrade from previous XJ. Aluminium body and air suspension.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Wafts along like a breeze on the motorways and when you hit the twisty stuff it tightens up andis supprisingly agile for such a big car. The size seems to shrink away the harder you push it.
What's it like to park?
No problem with parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only fault has been transmission electronics that have failed at 23000 miles. No problem getting transmission replaced under warranty. Did it again after 23000 miles on new box which was also replaced under warranty. Another 20000+ miles and symptoms showed again. By this time Jaguar had learned how to fix it without replacing transmission.
What's most practical about your car?
Great 5 seater saloon that eats the miles in absolute comfort. Drive all day and still feel fresh when you arrive.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air suspension, Xenon headlights and sat-nav.
