Jaguar XJ Saloon (2010 - 2019) 3.0d V6 Portfolio 4d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
2010 3.0d one previous owner car with Jaguar FSH.
Really good spec Portfio. Not even a comparison to German rivals
The only thing you're buying is looks.
SWB version lacks space in the back.
Can feel every bump in the road with them 20" wheels.
Reliability wise be prepared to sort loads of electrical issues, door lock actuators, handle buttons. Different sensors and motors. Inlet manifolds turbo actuators etc. Roof rattle which seems to be a common problem that Jaguar cant sort out you will be forced to live with.
Touchscreen seems like it was made in stone age.
Digital dash sometimes decides to come on a min later after a start up.
When showing indicator full beam sometimes flash.
The only car that I ever had that was worse than this piece of engineering was 2008 RR sport.
Unless you are buying it brand new with warranty don't bother, even though most bits are not that expensive to repair, but more annoying than anything.
Done 90K to 126K in XJ.
Now upgraded to 2016 7series and don't regret it one bit.
How reliable do you find the car?
Be prepared to sort loads of electrical issues, door lock actuators, handle buttons. Different sensors and motors. Inlet manifolds turbo actuators etc. Roof rattle which seems to be a common problem.About their car
