Jaguar XJS 3.6 2d (1983/Y) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Excellent value if looked after as it should be.
Costs
Independant specialists better value and often more interested than main dealer due to age of car. Just as enjoyable as V12 at cut prices.
-
On the road
Driving
Grand tourer with added bonus of manual box for more fun.
Performance
Much better than previously owned 3.6 auto.
-
Living with it
Reliability
12 years old now, so does need love and attention once in a while.
Image
Still looks better than most cars on the road today.
Comfort
Silky smooth ride, slightly cramped interior (but who cares when it looks this good).
-
Security and Service
Security
Alarm and immobilizer a must.
Service
Dealership ok, independant specialist seemed more knowledgable and interested in helping.
-
Problems and Ownership
Problems
