Jaguar XK Coupe (2006 - 2014) 4.2 V8 2d Auto Owner Review

Great car looks fantastic ,Buy the convertable much more fun .Its a keeper and although high mileage (engine was completely rebuilt at 80,000 miles at a cost of £9,000 proir to my ownership ) has driven faultlesly since I have owned it .Is great on long journeys 70 MPH is around 2000 RPM so engine is completely unstressed. Drives much better than the Jaguar F type better on the road and far more luggage space as you have the seats behind the driver for added storage etc.Fuel consumption on a run is excelent around 32 MPG this drops in town to aroung 16
Although this car is 17 years old and kept outside its in remarkable condition all the external panels are aluminium so don't suffer from Rust. .
I am in my 70's and have owned over 60 cars including an allard abbot Palm Beach ,7 other Jaguars and a rolls, This is the best and a definite keeper .They have stopped dropping in price and as they diminish in numbers due to rough examples being scrapped, a front wing sells for £2,000 can only appreciate in value the long term .
