Jaguar XK Coupe (2006 - 2014) 5.0 V8 2d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
This is my second XK, the first was a silver XKR 4.2 convertible, but I think the coupe (mine is metallic Ultimate Black) enshrines Jaguar's "Grace" beautifully. Likewise "Pace"; although the non-supercharged 5 litre doesn't have the sound and the grunt of the 4.2 XKR, it still has an outstandingly smooth punch accompanied by a snarl when the throttle is floored. Even "Space" is good, at least for 2 and with my relatively short legs, there's knee room in the back and there's plenty of room for luggage which, incidentally, the convertible hasn't when the top is down. Although the infotainment is now dated compared with more modern Jaguars, the satnav and smart phone linking all work well and are perfectly adequate as I'm not one for listening to music when I'm driving, especially when the car has its own sound track!
How reliable do you find the car?
A few minor electrical glitches which resolve themselves. Needs to be driven regularly to stop the ems draining the batteryAbout their car
