Jaguar XK Coupe (2006 - 2014) 5.0 V8 Portfolio 2d Auto Owner Review

I have owned my 2010 Jaguar XK Coupe Portfolio for 6 years, it had 18 k miles when I bought it and is now on 46 k miles on the clock. It is the best car I have driven in my history of BMW's, Mercedes and Volvo's. The handling and performance are both excellent, I am getting about 23-25 mpg - you don't buy this car for economy driving!. My car is in Caviar Metallic Red with a Creme Leather interior, an unusual paint colour for this model. I have upgraded the car sound system with premium speakers including a discrete sub-woofer in the boot and a 500 watt amplifier exploiting the optical output of the head unit. With the sound proofing in the doors, it is an absolute joy to drive, with an epic sound stage for music, putting a smile on my face every time I drive her. It has been a very reliable car, the only issues I have had is with the water pump (a known issue that will need replacing) and the tailgate struts this year (seeping), both easy fixes. Maintaining a good battery is key, always buy a premium battery (e.g. Bosch) not a Yuasa or other foreign make they will die inside 2 years.
My XK has been serviced by a specialist Jaguar garage since new (main dealers are a rip off).

I would recommend this car to anyone, looking for a low mileage well maintained example.
