Jaguar XK Coupe (2006 - 2014) 5.0 V8 Signature 2d Auto Owner Review

I have always wanted one of these since the first release back in the 90's but needed something more practical due to family. However now the kids have their own cars and we have a second car for the practical (and the chancellor allowed me take some money out of my pension) the time has arrived. Looked at several around £30,000 but decided that the top of the range 2014 Signature with the extra whistles and bells was worth the extra. Wanted the reverse camera having got used to it in the XF and that swung the balance. Found one in Italian Racing Red with low miles and bought it the day I saw it. Even though it has 20" wheels it is a more comfortable ride that the XF with 18" wheels - must the dynamic suspension. Recently toured Scotland in it - absolutely glorious - both the scenery and the car. Averaged 27.5mpg even though much of it was on tourist routes. If you want to put your foot down then be prepared for exhilarating acceleration - and it goes round corners like its on rails. Fabulous car - got to go now - must go for another drive
