I absolutely love this car. Like actually love this car. You drive down the road in one of these and you have the attention of everyone on the road in there little commuter cars to the point where the passenger wants to be in the car with you and the driver wants to be you.
Fuel consumption is a bit frightening I have my car running steady at 18.5 mpg but then it's an old V8 it's going to be thirsty.
Advice I can give on buying one of these is insure it has lots of service history, check that everything works and most importantly when you go out for a test drive, drive the car hard and listen for unnatural noises as repairs can be very expensive.
But if you want the attention of road users and pedestrians this is the car for you.
How reliable do you find the car?
The minor problems are interior based. This is a 90s British car don't forget, so naturally stuff has broken over the 25ish years of the cars life primary suspects are the cup holders, some minor leather ware and various plastic components etc.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
This is an absolutely fantastic car!!
