Jeep Cherokee (1993 - 2001) 2.5 TD Sport 5d Owner Review

Love the classic shape of the Jeep always wanted this model ,wife hates it until she needs something picking up then loves it!Bargain for £800 just sailed through mot with no advisories,been reliable and fun to drive bumpy on small lanes but cruises nice on main roads.With seats down the rear capacity is similar to a small van.Engine pulls well but would expect that with only 79k on clock.Averages 30 mpg, but sat at 55 on motorway will reach 40mpg !Diesel engine is nice and industrial ,kids know that I'm home without looking!Would recomend getting one if you can find a decent example,the bodywork on my jeep is in great nick and not wrecked by 4x4 excursions,rust or neglect,also other than a tow bar not modified in anyway which in my opinion is the best the jeep looks , in its original state, many examples have been lifted and meddled with for off road use.There are more comfortable cars,economical cars and there is probably in some people's view better 4x4's aswell but it's not about that ,it's a jeep thing!
