Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says I,m not really a `save the whale` type. It also says I like what I like and I,m not for buying what everyone else says I should buy.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Generally approved. Although most diesel owners that are skint or tightfisted (or both) can`t get their heads round the fuel economy thing. It,s not like I tell them to cut back on their food bill for their fat kids is it?
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. I will probably buy the newer model when I,m due a change. These cars will soon be extinct. Like the Concorde , we`re becoming `greener` but going slower in the process.
What are you likely to buy next?
Jeep SRT8 . The 6.4L.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£14,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Deal was alright to be fair. From a main dealer especially the price was good and the car came with an approved Jeep warranty.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I have had several Jeeps and needed a practical and fast car.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was good but the sales person was very `economical` with his description in terms of minor flaws of the car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
This `4x4` will absolutely demolish nearly everything on the road performance wise. Off the mark it will absolutely murder all but the fastest road going cars. Focus RS`s Subarus etc would be genuinely embarrassed off the lights. From a daily driving aspect, I used this car for a week solid recently to transport fishing rods and gear around with people to various locations and it was excellent. It really isn`t the biggest inside to be honest, with other 4x4s offering more room but I bought it purely the engine and performance.
What's it like to park?
Easier than a 3 door hatchback Astra.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing so far.
What's most practical about your car?
It has a decent sized boot and the open hatch is handy (like my last GC) for easy access.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The interior , ie; the SRT seats are lovely.
