Economy
Value
Expensive when new, but a bargain used purchase.
Costs
Haven't had to put to the test yet.

On the road
Driving
Great drive, have to watch the roll on corners but overall driving the Cherokee is a pleasure.
Performance
Power of the Mercedes 2.7 is outstanding. The car weighs in at 3 tonne, but it pulls away brilliantly and has a real mid range grunt. It even sounds good for a diesel.

Living with it
Reliability
Had a few niggles and has had to be returned to the dealer several times for the same fault. I think the problem will be the dealers ability to fix any problems, they do not appear that skilled from what I could see.
Image
Along with the Range Rover its probably the only 4x4 that has any street cred.
Comfort
Great big seats at the front, like sitting in an armchair in your living room. Shame the rear is lacking the same comfort and room..

Security and Service
Service
Dealer was incapable of fixing a basic fault after no less than 4 visits back to the dealer. Technicians have so far appeared poor.
