Jeep Grand Cherokee (1999 - 2004) 2.7 CRD Limited 5d Auto Owner Review

Bought this car second hand and straight away found it had the 'black death' injector seal failures. Jeep wanted £1000 just to drop the engine, though the part itself is cheap you cannot get to injector number 5 without dropping the engine!!! I found a mechanic who could get around this problem and fixed it..... for 8 months before it went again!!! This time he was unable to repair it so I had to scrap the vehicle, it also had the transmission module failure as well. All in all, expensive repairs and unreliable!! Buy at your peril!!
