Summary
What does this car say about you?
I have to travel all over the Cairngorms National Park in my job and hills, tracks and snow are commonplace. This Jeep Patriot does it with some style.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My mother-in-law lives next to me and she likes it. Need I say more. All the neighbours have 4X4s but not a Jeep. My wife has a Fiat Panda 4X4

Yes. My brother-in-law has had two before - the current one for 15 years.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something similar but not ofr 4-5 years.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very stable. I drive fast and although there is a slight role, the system corrects well. Comfortable position with a lot of easy to reach controls. the 6 gears are close but fairly easy to get used to.
What's it like to park?
No problem Good turning circle compared to my Land Rover!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing at all. I enjoy driving it. My wife loves it. Big enough for the enormous Scottish Deerhound.
What's most practical about your car?
Terrific in snow and we get a lot in North East Scotland and we live in the Cairngorms National Park. So the 4 wheel drive is brilliant and the acceleration is very good. Slight delay on turbo.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control system on long runs. My wife loves the heated leather seats.
