Jeep Renegade 1.6 E-torQ Longitude 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I like this car it feels very solid the chunky looks speak for themselves. The steering wheel is also chunky and the bonnet high in front of you feels like you are in a much bigger car. The interior gives a spacious feel probably due to the high ceiling and the windscreen being quiet far away from the driving position. The dashboard has a typical Jeep rugged feel to it. The drive is smooth but as mentioned by another owner the brakes do catch you out a bit as they seem very sensitive. The seats feel like big thick armchairs again another solid feature of the car. Some things I am not over the moon about are.... The spacious interior has its drawbacks as the windscreen is quiet a distance from you so too are the sun visors which allows the sun to sneak in at various positions when driving, they should be on a runner/slider that brings them closer to you. the side pillars are very thick so obscure you view quiet a lot. the indicator arm also has the headlight flash on it and is to sensitive, I find myself flashing the lights when putting the indicators on. Although I love the big frontage of the car sadly it is susceptible to stone chips (already got a couple) The model I have lacks a rear seat armrest/heated seats/foldaway wing mirrors, all which I had on my previous car (Hyundai IX35). Lip on the boot at the back isn't my cup of tea, again my last car was flat so you could easily slide things in. However I do like this car and would recommend it.
How reliable do you find the car?
only done 2000 miles but no issues as yet apart from the stop start doesn't always stop at traffic lights it seems a bit random. Not had this looked into as it doesn't really bother me but would guess its just a tweek on the engine management.About their car
