Summary
What does this car say about you?
It sayes that I am not very interested in cars which is not try as I have owned a lot of them and like cars very much but when my friends are spending a fortune repairing their BMWs or Mercs, I have saved lots of cash buying something that has been the most realiable vehicle I have ever owned.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it is a cheap Korean Car, which is fine because it is.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I may have done if they still made the LE model with leather seats as, with 3 dogs, material upholstery would get filthy. Unfortunately No Carens models come with Leather seats as standard anymore and I did not want to pay £2000 extra to have them fitted.
What are you likely to buy next?
I needed a slightly larger boot when I bought a 3rd dog so I bought a Saab 9-5 estate.

Franchise

No
What price did you pay?
£7,000

June 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. The car was cheap and had some toys. It is not the best looking car and feels a bit cheap but that is because it was cheap and I needed it to run around 3 dogs so it was perfect for what I needed.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was a good bargin for a 3 year old car with 16000 miles on the clock.
What was the dealer like?
Pleasant and helpful

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Average. It rolls a bit in the corners and it is far from sporty but as a car to transport people, pets or luggage it is good. It is also amaging to drive in snow. It has the best grip of any car I have ever driven and over the last 2 years we have had some heavy snow in winter and the Carens was not problem at all. I took it to the Alps last year for a skiing holiday and never even had to put snow chains on the tyres as it just kept going, even through heavy snow.
What's it like to park?
Not too bad. It has no parking sensors so you have to use your judgement a bit.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing apart from worn out tyres.
What's most practical about your car?
Lots of room in it.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Few to choose from but the leather seats are comfortable.
