Kia Ceed Hatchback (2007 - 2012) 1.6 3 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
The reviews on these cars don't do them justice, the interior isn't audi or mercedes but it's no LADA the soft touch dash is nice although scuffs easy, centre console and stereo decent, climate control is good and very quiet. Gearbox change is nice and positive, brakes are nicely weighted, clutch is light but predictable, only minor criticism is accelerator is a bit keen and revs high without much effort but easy to get used to. Handling this car is very capable in the bends, it drives great and is easy to find it's handling limit, feedback from wheel is good and responsive. Suspension generally is a bit on the hard side and would be perfect if just a tad softer as truthfully does crash over large bumps but nothing that would put you off. Seats are decent comfortable very bucket/sport style with nice hugging bolsters, lumbar support is a nice feature but does feel a little hard and niggly on long journeys.
Overall it is a brilliant car and i can easily see why kia has built up it's reputation in UK. Anyone thinking of buying 1 wont be dissapointed it is far better than the equivalent 1.6 ford focus, If your a badge snob it's probably not for you, if your after a sensible decent reliable family car then this is definitely the 1 for you.
How reliable do you find the car?
Not really the cars fault Previous owner failed to maintain had to replace Disc brakes, pads and rear hand brake cables plus grease all caliper sliders and replace brake fluid as was past expiry.About their car
