What does this car say about you?
I suppose it says sensible/grown up. But I think its also quite sporty looking and that helps me not feel like an old dad!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think its not big enough for us!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would. I would like the newer facelift model. Only because it looks nicer I think. And the suspension is a bit softer apparently.
What are you likely to buy next?
Dont have any plans for 5 years when the warrantee runs out!

Did you get a good deal and why?
The dealer found us a great example, low mileage and full SH. They agreed to add another a years warrantee, fixed a scratch, gave it a new MOT and did diamond bright package to cover the exterior and interior. They also did a good trade in on our old vehicle.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Warantee, fuel economy and positive reviews.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was very good. No pressure. Very realistic about finance options and convinced us not to over extend ourselves! We had a problem with teh radio after collection and after some initial concerns they took it back and agreed to replace the entire head unit at no cost to us.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Really nippy. Lots of power. Agile cornering. If there is a negative the drive is quite hard (although we traded from a Renault Espace which was like driving a duvet!).
What's it like to park?
Very easy.. Steering light, good visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes the radio dashboard controls dont do anything. BE WARNED this is a common fault with 2008 Ceed's- check the radio very carefully. Its not covered by the warrantee after 2 years and it needs a new head unit to fix.
What's most practical about your car?
Its surprisingly big for a 5 door hatchback. The boot is huge, easily swallows a family shopping trip or the dog and walking parephenalia. It easily accomodates the 4 of us in comfort.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Ipod connectivity is great. Lights that turn off when you open the door and leave them on by accident. Dash indication of who has or hasnt put on seat belts.
