Kia Ceed Sportswagon 1.5T GDi ISG 3 5dr Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Very comfortable with great driving position and all touch points are tactile and feel well built. Steering wheel especially feels great with easy to use controls.
Seats offer a lot more cushioning and support than in the ProCeed that we also looked at. Both kids preferred sitting and the styling of the SW. The fact it was also cheaper with same performance appealed to the wallet and head as well. Plenty of space for a family of 4 to go on a week's self catering holiday full with toys, scooters, clothes, food etc. Tech is great. Sat Nav is excellent and will take you around traffic jams finding the best route very quickly. Screen is excellent and the Uvo app is great, telling you if you forget to lock the car and allowing you to lock the doors from miles away, it will also tell you where the car is and provides trip into to monitor MPG etc.
We are averaging just over 40MPG mainly on short drives, school runs etc. On longer journeys being sensible it is easy to get over 50 and close to 60 (according to the trip computer at least). At the same time there is more than enough power to easily overtake and have a bit of fun a good country road. It holds the road well, steering is accurate, but does lack some feel to really feel confident throwing it around, but it is a family estate car so isn't really the focus anyway.
All in all can't fault it and genuinely look forward to driving the car. Really happy with the purchase and with the 7 year warranty and quality of service from the dealership am confident this will fill all our needs for the next 5 years and still provide a decent amount of cash should we wish to upgrade to a newer model.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Really comfortable and spacious inside. Quiet and refined to drive, offering good economy if driven sensibly, but will also shift when the opportunity arises. Boot is huge with really useful space under the floor. The boot may was a great extra especially when going on trips to the beach.About their car
