Summary
What does this car say about you?
Nothing
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it's faulty.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would never buy a Kia, or Hyundai (same firm)again after this. If you get a properly built one you're probably OK, but if it's faulty they fight you all the way to avoid spending on repairs. It's the worst experience I 've had in 44 years of motoring.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Ford or Vauxhall - with a warranty that works, as I know form past experience.

Motorpoint car supermarket. They insisted on £400 refundable deposit before I could test drive it.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
OK when cold. It's nippy, but clonks and rattles (when warmed up) driving around town.Unpleasant to drive once warmed up, feels like major backlash in the drive train somewhere.I don't go far in it.
What's it like to park?
Rather obstructed rear view, but you get used to it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The hifi packed up after about 8 months. Was repaired but took weeks to sort out. One seat belt shredded against the buckle - replaced. The parcel shelf rattles - replaced with another rattling parcel shelf. The driver's seat creaks. The rear view mirror started rattling - they rebuilt this. Suspension leg top bolt came loose and made a loud banging noise. The transmission started to make a clonk and rattle when warmed up about 6 months in - they said they all do this, it's normal. Eventually they replaced gearbox and a drive shaft, but still the same. They now again say that they all do this, but refuse to show me another that does -they either will not or cannot.
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing other than it's an estate.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The hi fi - takes memory sticks and mp3 CDs.
