Summary
What does this car say about you?
Someone who is practical about getting everything they need.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most people like it and find it comfortable. Some have said it looks sporty. A couple have expressed an interest in buying one or at least a Kia.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. It treats me well and has worked very hard without complaint. It takes me on long trips in comfort and lugs all my camping equipment around with ease. It has been reliable and sound and gets a good pace going from that little diesel engine.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Kia Cee'd. The 130bhp 1600 diesel, probably.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,500
When did you buy the car?
June 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
A fantastic deal. Ex-lease car with 17 miles on the clock and just over 2 years of the warranty left on it. £3.5k less than the list price of a brand new model and £2.5k less than a Kia dealer wanted for the same car with 5k miles on it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was the right size at a great price with all the extras you would expect from a high spec competitor.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpfull and friendly.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's got quite a pace for what seemed like a little engine. It's not gutless and will cruise on the motorway with ease. My only gripe is that it could do with, and definitely handle a 6th gear. I sit in 5th and the engine can handle anything from 40mph up. It's like driving an automatic on A roads and motorways as I never have to change gear.
What's it like to park?
Easy due to good rear visibility and a short boot.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The passenger front central locking played up but was fixed quickly under warranty. Other than that it has been spot on.
What's most practical about your car?
Good rear room and a reasonable sized boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
MP3 CD player as standard.
