Kia Cerato Saloon (2004-2006) boot space, practicality and safety

(change model)
The hatchback version received just a three-star Euro NCAP rating – disappointing when five-star results are becoming the norm in this class. However, it does get six airbags, sophisticated ABS and front seat belt pretensioners with load limiters. Remote central locking and an alarm are also fitted.
The boot is a decent enough size, and the rear seats actually split fold for those occasions when more carrying space is needed. However the saloon lacks the practicality of the hatchback although there are a number of storage areas in the cabin – even one for your glasses.
