Discount of £1,000 off list price not sure whether this was from the dealer or manufacturer.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Old BMW was dying an expensive death after looking round the usual suspects similarly specced models were approx. £10,000 more and had a Kia Cee'd as a hire car a few months previously and was extremely impressed.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly and helpful, turned up at 3pm on Saturday afternoon, spent approx. 1.5 hours doing the usual test drives, etc. and paperwork. The car I wanted was in their lockup and I collected it on Tuesday lunchtime.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great to drive but can be a little noisy at times and if you're below the revs for the turbo you know about it.
What's it like to park?
Very easy with the combination of the sensors, rear camera and auto park features.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Some lights on the dashboard in the first week was traced to an earthing short under the bonnet, took the master technician to find it. The dealership were helpful throughout and really couldn't do much more.
What's most practical about your car?
The rear legroom, I'm 6" 3' and need the seat almost as far back as possible. The rear passengers have plenty of place and I'm convinced there is more space than my old BMW 5 series.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated seats are great, but the in-built sat nav with Infinity stereo system is great, I think there are 11 speakers, but I don't know where they all are!
