Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I am young and vibrant. :)
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
A perfect car for a first time buyer who is just starting his/her career. Good looking and easy to park.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Nope. Having settled down in my career several years down the road, I need to make more outstation trips and hence I need more than a town car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Undecided. But thinking of either a Mazda 3 or a Suzuki SX4 Crossover.

Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
August 2004
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. As a first time car buyer, I was just looking for a car to get me from point A to point B. And Kia Picanto fit the deal - good looks with airbags & ABS. You have to remember, it was the year 2004 and there weren't many cars in its price range with both airbags and ABS!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Value for money, easy parking
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was friendly and was honest about the cars pros and shortcomings.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
As it is used mainly for town driving, I would say that it is a cruise for getting from point A to point B. For highway driving, the steering wheel tends to tremble if you were to do over 120-130km/hour. And it does wheeze on going uphill.
What's it like to park?
Parking is a breeze.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car has served me well. It only started giving me trouble in its 5th year - "noisy" when reversing and my driver's seat power window suddenly showing small sparks when I started my car one morning last month which the mechanic attributed to battery weakness.
What's most practical about your car?
The ease of parking. Its brakes works well too.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
NIL.
