Kia Pride 1.3 SX 5d (2000/V) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Can't get better.
Costs
Servicing can be pricey - but offset by cheap insurance and good MPG.
-
On the road
Driving
Excellent in dry. Skips a bit on wet corners.
Performance
Very nippy for small engine. Top speed around 90 - ok for me.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Four years motoring without a problem.
Image
Generally considered a naff car - but I can take that when I consider how much the posers are paying more than me for image.
Comfort
Great for two people. Very tight in rear seats, but worst feature is the boot - couldn't fit our suitcase in when going on holiday. Changing to Rio next.

Security and Service
Security
Good immobiliser and computer chipped keys (which are pricey to replace!) Removable stereo piece with flashing red light also good touch.
Service
Good when buying. Servicing expensive. Very poor when I asked for bubbling paintwork to be corrected.
