Kia Rio 1.3 Ice+ 5d (2003/53) Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
-
Economy
Value
Is packed with features, e.g. even somewhere to store your glasses, foot rest etc.
Costs
Because of the power/weight issue there are more economical cars around. I have been getting between 31 and 36 miles per gallon.
-
On the road
Driving
Steering, breaking, gear change etc are fine, but the power to weight ratio is poor so that it is not 'nippy' by any means. The engine struggles with hills and is noisy at speed.
Performance
Large body, small engine means that I have the benefit of 5 doors and plenty of space but little power.

Living with it
Reliability
So far.
Image
It's not a bad looking car and different.
Comfort
Carries 5 in comfort, but not too much leg room in the back.
-
Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser and a plus is that I wont be burgled by people looking for my keys.
Service
Dealership did not deliver when promised and what was promised.
