Kia Rio 1.3 L 5d (2003/52) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Got pre-reg'd for less than £6k. Depreciation is GOOD - as you paid so little for it you can't possibly lose that much! (High %, low £, - who gets paid in %?). Would perhaps go for a higher spec next time.
Costs
Only 39mpg and £150 for small service, but very cheap insurance.

On the road
Driving
No real problems, can understeer a bit.
Performance
Once you get to know how to use the gears it's fine, otherwise lacklustre, but then it is only a 1.3 afterall.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Nothing gone wrong yet.
Image
I've modded up the car and it now looks much better.
Comfort
I'm tall and find it great, soft seats, wouldn't want adults in the back regularly - but that's no different to any hatchback. Does seem to get quite hot inside during summer.

Security and Service
Security
Added an alarm straight away.
Service
Kia were great, but poor service from the dealer.
