Kia Rio Hatchback (2001-2005) interior, tech and comfort

Not especially pleasant to drive, but there’s pretty much everything you need and it’s all fairly well put together. Space is a bit tight for taller drivers, seats don’t offer much adjustment, but it’s still easy to find a pretty comfortable driving position. Plenty of visibility all-round. Centre console isn’t the last word in cutting edge design, but it’s simple and the controls are easy to use.
There’s an awful lot of room for the money. Seats aren’t especially comfy and performance is sluggish fully laden. But look at the price.
