Summary
What does this car say about you?
When asked what kind of car I drive and people respond by saying "Is that a car?". Its a decent car for the right sort of person, older person on a budget.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it, alittle drab in places but alot of soft plastics add abit of expense to the over look on the insside.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, the engine noise, gear box and complete lie on the stated mileage puts me off.
What are you likely to buy next?
Smaller PETROL car. The diesel engine noise and gear ratios where completly foreign to me and never got used to it. The Turbo Charger cutting in at seemingly random times. I like to know what my car is doing.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
At first the drive never bothered me. But in cities the engine noise is abit annoying. At 30mph, third gear is idle, but 27/8mph the engine labours and at 33mph it sounds like its over reving so constant gear changing is required which is annoying. On motorways, I tended to have my radio on quite high so never heard the engine. Compared to other cars the Powersteering is abit heavy but nothing overly bad. The gear box is pretty harsh, having to force the gears in alot of the time rather than have them slide in. No doubt there will be alot of wear and tear in a couple of years. The lack of remote central locking and a trip computer(and not a trip meter) would have been an added bonus.
What's it like to park?
Power stearing is abit heavy so takes abit of effort in turning, view out of the rear mirror is excellent so always feel like you know where everything is.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Brand new, if something had I would not have been pleased
What's most practical about your car?
I would have said the engine, but sadly the MPG stated is FAR from what it actually returns, instead of 60mpg, even on a normal 70mph motor way journey your looking closer to 40-45. A ten gallon tank and returning 400-420 miles?
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
No real gadget, never got around to trying my AUX port for my MP3 player.
