The 1.6 is nippy and willing, the 1.8 is less refined and doesn’t like to be pushed too hard but driven carefully it can be smooth. Both offer adequate acceleration and cruise comfortably at motorway speeds. Like a lot of Korean cars, fuel consumption is on the high side.
Visibility is good. LX and SE models feature parking sensors, which is rare for a car of this price. Not an out-and-out performer, but competent enough for day-to-day family use. Fine on smooth roads and motorways, but a lot of cabin noise. Too much bodyroll in corners.
