Economy
Value
Loads of gadgets fitted as standard to keep you amused and plenty of scope to add your own.
Costs
Fuel economy very reasonable for a car of this size, servicing average (now at 40K), insurance class makes premium not too steep.

On the road
Driving
Good all round visibility, though I would definately recommend parking sensors as the wheel arches can get a bit lost on occasions! Firm suspension means you feel the potholes, but it makes for a sturdy ride with little 'roll' when driving at speed.
Performance
Motorways are effortless. I've not had the chance to take it 'off road' just yet, but it coped extremely well in the snow this winter on roads which were broadcast as 'Impassable.'

Living with it
Reliability
3 breakdowns in two vehicles in the first month. All minor faults mind, but meant I couldn't get home without a ride from the RAC! Very helpful and prompt response it must be said.
Image
Collegues mock the badge, but most have sat in, driven it round the carpark and got out suitably impressed!
Comfort
Plenty of space for five adults and baggage. Nice high driving position, good for visibility and bad backs!

Security and Service
Security
Shame an alarm isn't standard. Plenty of drawers and hideaways to keep valuables out of view.
Service
Excellent service as Kia seem to be in the 'growth' market, trying to keep the consumer happy.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
1. Fuel return pipe clip was missing meaning all fuel drained over engine at speed - much smoke and damage to rubber bushes/ window seals. 2. Turbocharger exhaust pipe/ tube burned through by aircon pump meant loss off power and again lots of smoke!
