Great car to drive, my son learned to drive in it last year and my daughter is now learning in it too. Told them if they can drive this they can drive anything. I have taught them both. My daughter is doing her test next week after learning in this car since August and the instructor says she is a fantastic driver. The towing capacity is brilliant and although its an older car I know I couldn't replace it if it was written off in an accident, so it's worth much, much more than the valuation given. I like the fact that it has a cd player as most modern cars don't have these anymore. It is an older car now, but I feel very safe in it and I like the raised seating position. Wouldn't trade it in for a new car. Ours has only 81000 miles so I hope there's lots of life left in it. If you can get one with low mileage like ours jump at it!
How reliable do you find the car?
The clutch had to be replaced a couple of times within a few weeks, but I feel this was down to a problem with Charles Hurst in Belfast as a dealer in Portsmouth replaced the clutch less than a week after CH and we haven't had a problem since.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Fantastic towing car. It was bought originally for a caravan but I now tow my daughter's horse box and horse with it and it's fantastic. The option of the four low gear box really comes into play in wet fields or if we get snow on our lane. No-one else can get out if it snows here as it's a private, really bad lane near a lighthouse.About their car
