Kia Soul SUV First Edition 64kWh lithium-ion 201bhp auto 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
The Kia Soul is ace, I had no hesitation in switching to fully electric as I am lucky enough to have a driveway so access to home charging was easy for me.
Pro’s are it is refined, comfortable, punchy (I had a little giggle at traffic lights in sports mode with a some chap revving his Audi A3 engine next to me wanting to burn me off and he was left eating my dust and not amused, but hey that seems to be most Audi drivers nowadays!), it is loaded with kit, love the heated seats and wheel, great info system & sound system; the list could go on!
Regeneration braking bleeds in smoothly and you feel smug adding miles with little effort. Despite rough and freezing temperatures recently it has done really well and gets close to official mileage claims. I honestly have little to grumble about.
Cons: The lack of front sensors was a bit of a weird omission, but due to great visibility you get used to placing the car with ease once you get used to it. Yeh the boot is on the small side but with some planning and dropping the floor it is easy to pack shopping in and should be ok for the two of us and the dog to get away for break when lockdown eases!
Really happy as it suits my family’s needs well, does everything well and with the minimum of fuss, it is a very accomplished vehicle!
How reliable do you find the car?
To early to really provide a comprehensive overview but absolutely no issues so far.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
The Soul is packed with kit and what you get is phenomenal for the price. It drives well, it is comfortable and it has exceeded my expectations.About their car
