Did you get a good deal and why?

Considering the stress,fustration,I have experienced since purchase and loss of confidence in kia's ability to deal with a new faulty car ,I can positively state NO!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Choose the car based on price,specification and peace of mind seven year bumper to bumper warranty.Silly me!

What was the dealer like?

The dealer/kia are more concerned in not admitting liability than resolving issues and there inaction,unwillingness to investigate the problem beyond a test drive,only compounds my stress.

What's it like to drive?

Apart from the battles I experience in engaging the knotchy gears,that occasionaly clunk,the car is powerful but noisy.

What's it like to park?

It can be hard to judge the space behind the car because of restricted visability

Have you had any problems with the car?

Within two weeks of purchase I experienced problems with the transmission system.I have to force the gears into position to engage the car and have experienced complete transmission failure on a busy motorway.Kia conclude that this is the normall driving characteristic with all sportages and that positive gear selection is required?

What's most practical about your car?

The car can comfortably accomodate a family of five.

The car has a high specification for its cost but is unrefined
