In their own words

Too unpredictable for me. I am a single mum and run my own business through an office in my home. I normally get a lease-hire car through my business but unfortunately for me, this time I bought the car....a big mistake as I now feel I’m lumbered with this horrific and dangerous car for a few years. I am a low usage driver, doing an average of only 4000 to 5000 miles a year with school runs, supermarket shopping trips and all those normal “mums taxi” journeys you do. I have been driving for 16 years and have a clean licence. I pride myself on being a safe and cautious driver, but I really dont like this car and how unsafe it makes you feel as a driver and as a parent. This car is scary, I don’t even like to overtake cyclist even though they may be in their cycle lane, where I give them plenty of room on the road. The lane system on this car reacts in an unpredictable way, it very easily gets confused with lane road markings causing regular and concerning steering problems. Also the “anti-collision” avoidance system seems to work in an irratic way for no reason or any warning, causing emergency stops and engine stops at dangerous and inappropriate times in heavy and slow moving traffic. If this is the future of cars, I don’t like nor trust them at all! I certainly don’t feel safe or confident driving my kids anywhere in this car, I wish I’d never bought it. I’m already looking to trade it in and get rid of it!
