Kia Sportage SUV 1.6T GDi 48V ISG GT-Line 5dr DCT Owner Review

The car has too many niggling issues. Bleeping every time you get in the car which cannot be stopped. Auto steer function cannot be permanently switched off. Everytime you start the car it's back on. Normal drive mode cannot be permanently locked, reverts to eco. The infotainment system is so fiddly and complex. Nav system again is too intrusive and faffy. The angle of the throttle pedal is too steep after an hour it becomes tiresome. In all drive modes the throttle is too aggressive which makes the car jerky to drive. The emissions filter blocks every 10 weeks and is difficult to clear (ignore the manual and drive at 70 for 30 minutes in normal mode). This means it's not suitable for regular short trips. Yes the car has good points but the above outweigh the good. I own and drive other cars and I don't enjoy driving the Kia. I won't mention the fuel consumption....AVG 25 mpg. Motorway 40 to 45.
