In their own words

Being a self charging hybrid, mpg can vary enormously, it all depends on whether the battery is charged at the start of the journey or not. I can drive a journey of 6 miles and get 60+ mpg and other days 40+. Generally I've averaged mid 40's during ownership.
Another plus is that I can fit a spare wheel in the boot, the mild hybrid and the 4×4 you can't.
The car has more than enough 'poke' for overtaking.
Ride quality is really good but the car has the standard 18 inch wheels, don't know if the optional 19 inch might compromise the ride.
The auto 'box is very smooth although sometimes it seems to not know what gear it should be in and you find yourself at 3000 revs for a few seconds (I've heard other manufacturers vehicles doing this as well).
Negatives? Sometimes it can bing or bong and there is no warning showing up on the dash, so you don't know what the car is trying to tell you.
The forward collision warning can sound off if the car is approaching a bend and there's a car parked on that bend, it doesn't apply the brakes though, not like a SEAT Ibiza I had (very unnerving).
The sat nav can be slow to react, telling you to take a turning just as you are passing.
The Isofix points in the back seats don't have guides on them, unlike the previous model making it a bit fiddly to fit a child seat.
