Kia Stonic SUV 1.0T GDi 99 2 5dr DCT Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Easy to drive.
Light steering.
Easy to manoeuvre.
Quicker than I expected for a 1.0 automatic.
Auto gearbox could be more responsive the kickdown is delayed and the car rolls back slightly on hill starts.
Top speed is 115MPH at max RPM.
0-60 is around 12 seconds no matter which driving mode is selected.
Comfortable on motorway.
Good round towns.
Suspension is rough on b roads and definitely not good over speed bumps so if you suffer with back issues this car isn't for you.
Handles the corners and bends pretty well
Headlights could be brighter and the Auto high beam isn't responsive enough.
Drives better with steering assist and lane assist off
If you have them on it tends to fight you.
It does kind of drive and steers itself, and follows the road when the icons are lighting up green its very unstable, DO NOT rely on this technology keep your eyes on the road at all times its untrustworthy.
The in car entertainment screen is absolute Rubbish doesn't do much apart from DAB and Bluetooth. Doesn't even have navigation.
The built in USB port is for file transfer to stereo and not for charging phones I had to buy a USB cig lighter to charge my phone.
Theres cup holders in front but none in the back.
The seats are comfortable.
Interior feels cheap and the steering wheel will wear down quickly.
It's not a terrible car but it's not a brilliant car it's somewhere in between.
You don't get a lot for your money. There's better cars available for the money.
I wish I got a diesel would definitely be cheaper to run
And more powerful
