The Parkers verdict

The Works V8 is the last version we’ll see of this generation of Defender. Some may mourn is passing, but this V8-powered final edition is a last hurrah for the Land Rover faithful.

It’s absurdly expensive and demands that you already have a Defender that you’re willing to let Land Rover rebuild, but what you’ll get out of it is a loud, silly and thirsty slice of history.
