Land Rover Discovery Sport R-Dynamic HSE D180 5+2 Seat AWD auto 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I've owned one previous Disco which I couldn't fault. I kept it for 6 years and then got a good deal on a trade in, demonstrating that the car held its value very well. My new Disco has the upgraded diesel engine and the bodywork has been restyled along with many functional modifications which one would expect in a developing model. I bought the car because it suits the rural and relatively rugged terrain in which we live along with the fact we tow a caravan for holidays and this car undertakes this task with ease. Whilst I wait for the next generation of engines to replace the internal combustion engine, this diesel is the perfect workhorse for towing. It now has the AdBlue exhaust emission technology added which controls the particulates and oxides of nitrogen that this kind of engine produces. A good interim measure while we wait for future technological advances. There is bags of space for carrying bikes and other luggage although I tend to use the retractable towbar with a bike carrier added when carrying two bikes. The only problem I've ever had with my Discos is a faulty rear tailgate gas strut which failed but this was sorted out swiftly under warranty. I'm also well pleased with the dealership I made the purchases through and who look after the maintenance requirements for me. Always good to have reliable and knowledgeable technicians in the background, especially since cars nowadays are so technically complex.
How reliable do you find the car?
The car is new and therefore relatively untried and tested. But, I can't fault the car at this stage.About their car
