Summary
What does this car say about you?
I like to drive. I like to see. I tow. I can go anywhere.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
"God he's bought another Land Rover" (Except one neighbour who works for them).
Would you buy this car again and why?
This is my second Disco. I knew what I'd be in for but it's even worse. We want a Disco 3 next so we are gluttons for punishment. Wife insists we stick to Discos. I'll test drive a Lexus first. It's far more sensible but so so dull.
What are you likely to buy next?
As above. I love the disco although the 3.&4. Look like a cross between a hearse and a bread van. She will let me get a Lexus. Especially after a test drive (quet) but prefers another Disco. So that's that.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Advice from my garage.
What was the dealer like?
Absolutely dreadful once he'd got the money. Barged onto my property and roughed me up. Wanted the tax disc. Hadn't see it is free for us. Wife disabled. Have a cherished number. Claimed he knew what to do. Lied to DVLA caused unnecessary delay to document hand over blamed me. Continued threats by phone. Arrogant bully. Considered prosecution but lacked witnesses. Refused to hand over missing jack. Several faults within weeks either found or developed. Dare not contact him again. Worked through intermediary at my usual garage. They are shocked at his attetude. Spares very expensive. E. G. Ignition barrel on eBay =£12 to £20. For this car reported fr Japan =£387. Brake calliper £50.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Brilliant. Superb ride. Diddle to drive. Didn't really wast an automatic but glad I've got it now. These motors would be unbeatable if LR could only build th properly.
What's it like to park?
Heck of a lump. All corners are blind. Not much lock. Another time I'm glad it's automatic.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Permanently faulty. From windows don't wind. Fuel system blocked (£5 for the hose £150 to fit. Needs a drive belt check. No indication of lst fitted 10700iles now. Radio wasn't connected. Bought a Halfords anyway. Can't fathom that either! Needs two jacks to change a wheel (why for heavens sake). I could go on. But it's a Land Rover.
What's most practical about your car?
Size. Versatility. Yes brilliantly.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
None. Has many gzmos. Don't have a favourite.
