Economy
Value
A big comfortable family cruiser... loads of room, built like a tank. Looks great, but keep it clean!
Costs
Quite expensive to service... much cheaper using a specialist rather than the dealer. Bit thirsty round town, ok on a journey.

On the road
Driving
Enjoyable drive... commanding position. It does roll around corners though and there is negligable steering lock which may cause problems manoeuvring in tight spaces.
Performance
It is no Subaru Impreza, but it will happily cruise at fast motorway speeds! Remember it is not meant to be a sportscar.

Living with it
Reliability
Fairly reliable, but it is essential to get regular servicing. I use a Land Rover specialist who use Land Rover parts, are trained by Landrover and use exactly their service schedules. Much cheaper.
Image
It does look good when clean... lovely alloy wheels.
Comfort
Comfortable and supportive seats. Rear legroom is a bit restricted due to the incursion of the wheelarches and differential.

Security and Service
Security
I had an updated immobiliser fitted as factory one was not Thatcham approved. Insurance requirement as these are 'Nickable!'
Service
Nearly £600 for a 12,000-mile service at a dealer. Almost £100 for a couple of gallons of Castrol GTX and a pint of Gearbox Oil! Never again... I even got charged £30 labour to put in a few bulbs!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Fine.
Other
I have had TWO electric window regulator mechanisms fail. £100 plus each... fiddly to repair.
