Value
Bought mine 6 months old, have used its full potential over the last year, but depreciated by £10k over last 18 months.
Costs
Apart from extortionate Land Rover servicing costs, no other expense except tyres. Warranty service has been very good.

On the road
Driving
Driving position great, always in command. Have had mine professionally chipped and acceleration equal to 4.0 Range Rover. Could be quicker top end for motorway driving, 80mph about it.
Performance
Impressed with ride, could do with higher cruising speed.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems except engine heat leaking into cabin from near steering wheel. Land Rover fixed twice.
Image
Black is best. The ultimate executive motor - except maybe an X5.
Comfort
Needs more leg room for the rear passengers. Seats vertical in rear and not too comfortable on long journeys.

Security and Service
Security
Has standard alarm, but I think there's plenty of Discoverys about for them to choose from!
Service
Good service, car always provided - but servicing too expensive!
