Dislike were the early ownership problems that needed sorting, some electrical some mechanical. Make sure you buy with a warranty.
Likes are multiple. Hugely talented and versatile vehicle Has towed horse trailers across muddy fields while other so called 4x4’s were bogged down. Crossed Europe multiple times with full family load (all 7 seats are usable) in complete comfort and safety. Great to drive, precise steering, great visibility and surprisingly sprightly and nimble. Have previously owned Mercedes GL and various BMW’s but the Discovery was everyone’s favourite. Snow expected on the moors today so am on standby to pick up wife when her Mini Countryman 4x4 gets stuck!

Bought with LR warranty which was heavily used in early days, but now all sorted a very reliable and essential family memberDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
Amazing versatility. From towing horse trailer, to moving furniture and heavy wood burning stove, to transporting multiple grateful school kids through deep flooded lanes for exams, taking family of 7 and all kit 680 miles across France in one day. Also ultra comfortable company exec quiet motorway cruiser. Simply brilliant.About their car
