Summary
What does this car say about you?
I've got kids but we have a very active 'lifestyle'; or 'life' as it used to be called. I don't give a monkey's armpit about 4x4 haters.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it and I've lent it to them for all sorts of things from hauling to the tip to towing boats.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Like a shot - especially if the new turbo unit in the RR is fitted to it. It's impossible to think of a comparative vehicle which is better.
What are you likely to buy next?
The same, possibly with the new engine as and when it's fitted.
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£38,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2005
Did you get a good deal and why?
It was ok - the car was just out and he threw in a few goodies but no deals worth talking about
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had a Range Rover before and wanted to remain with LR, but needed 7 seats
What was the dealer like?
Very customer focussed, freindly and helpful
-
Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent and comfortable on road, like a limosine, could drive for days and not get tired. Off-road it is superlative. Go anywhere a goat can.
What's it like to park?
Large but the sensors make it do-able in a tight space. Doors are wide so sometimes the spaces are not wide enough
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing, save for me filling it up with petrol (duh!)
What's most practical about your car?
Goes anywhere, 7 seats, unrivalled driving position, tough and practical interior, lots of space etc. etc.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Rear aprking sensors - not sexy but I'd be lost without them in something this big.
