Land Rover Discovery (2004 - 2017) 3.0 SDV6 (255bhp) XS 5d Auto Owner Review

I have had 3 Discoveries now, I love the practicality ,the tow capacity ,the huge and versatile interior with 7 seats and the go anywhere performance BUT each one I have had has had the fatal flaw of being unreliable and expensive to run , the RAC even put my premiums up because I was on first name terms with the driver of the tilt bed bed Discovery collection truck! How can a premium vehicle manufacturer produce a vehicle with a PLASTIC inlet manifold which always splits and is very fiddly and expensive to fix , look at the forums online many many people have had this problem and LR still fit te same pathetic plastic piece of junk. The Disco 3 had endless electrical problems. The detachable towbar is not fit for purpose to tow the 3500kg quoted tow capacity.again the online forums are full of towbars simply dropping off! Come on Land Rover you are doing so much right ,why blow it with bottom of the class reliability>
