Land Rover Freelander Hardback (1997-2003) interior, tech and comfort

Good driving position, which gives excellent forward visibility. Some of the switches are placed in odd places and you may have to hunt around for some of the buttons. Some of the switchgear is very poorly placed and of variable quality and the driving position feels compromised for taller drivers
Five-door estate models are the only choice if you’re planning to carry three in the back regularly – the three-door just doesn’t have enough legroom. Front seats could be better, they don’t feel as though they have enough length or height.
