-
Economy
Value
Not cheap to buy used
Costs
Heinous fuel costs, replacement engine at £2,600 really went down a treat
-
On the road
Driving
Good driving position, fairly noisy at speed
Performance
OK with 1-2 occupants, struggles with fuller loads
-
Living with it
Reliability
Only breakdown I have ever had - catastrophic engine failure
Image
Good - one of the reasons why I bought it
Comfort
Seats are OK, Aircon a tad feeble
-
Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser fitted
Service
The dealers are a breed apart - incredibly expensive and 'keeping customers informed' mustn't be in their manual
-
Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Head Gasket blew, taking the engine with it at 52,000 miles. £2,600 - no recompense from Land Rover
Other
Took on water in the electricals - poor firing when wet - and this is supposed to be a 4x4! Buy a Hyundai Santa Fe instead!
