Mine has cost a fortune to keep on the road.

On the road
Driving
Driving is heavy on the steering and noisy.
Performance
Very poor because it's off the road more than on it.

Living with it
Reliability
You are joking. I don't know anyone with a Freelander who would say their car is reliable, especially after 35,000 miles on the clock.
Image
OK - just paying for the badge.
Comfort
OK, just noisy.
-
Security and Service
Security
OK.
Service
Service was very poor. Once they've got rid of the car, they don't want to see you or your car ever again!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Other
The head gasket has been replaced twice and cost a fortune. Land Rover know about this problem but I keeping quiet. The engine's to small for the car, so it gets too hot and blows the gasket. New models 2005 onwards have been modified.
