Oooh look, another muppet who bought an overpriced underengineered british soft-roaader.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They hate is, especially the fact I seem to have to spend everyweekend underneath it fixing it...... AGAIN!

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would rather poke my eyes out with a screwdriver, I've driven 1960"s cars that wewre more relaible.

Methinks I'll have an X-Trail.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I thought I did until I got it home.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Fancied a landrover and the freelander looked like the best option (more fool me!).

What was the dealer like?

They wore 10 gallon hats so I should have guessed!

What's it like to drive?

Surprisingly its nippy to say its supposedly the smallest engine, seems to pull well right up to 70, top speed a supposed 94, but dont hammer it that much. actually its quite nice to drive apart from the gearchange which sometimes needs brute force and ignorance to get gears.

What's it like to park?

Compared to some of the Behemoths i've driven its not bad. Turning Circle is a bit limited but hey, its a 4x4.

Have you had any problems with the car?

It would be easter to say what had gone right with it! Propshaft failed, both door locks, both window mechanisms, water pipes to the engine, clutch hydraulics made of cheese and blew apart in deepest scotland, then clutch needed replacing also, oh and the sunroof has never worked!

What's most practical about your car?

Split rear seats and drop down window so large items can be carried.

Double unlocking, so I can unlock the drivers door only when im driving solo.
